Tis the Season to Donate

It's the day after Thanksgiving, which means the holidays are well on their way and before we know it, will be over. Those boxes and bins full of decorations are ready to be pulled out of storage and put on display. But, what about all of those extra decorations you've been holding onto over the years that haven't made it to the tree, mantel, window sill, table, etc.? What will you do with them?

Please, take one second, think about that, and be prepared to hear my opinion. DONATE THEM.

Yes, donate them. Someone else will go wild over the inexpensive ornaments and decorations they scored at Goodwill or another local second hand shop. Let them love that moment and love the ornament/figurine/wreath/stocking... whatever it is. Let someone else love it because you clearly do not if it's been boxed for years waiting for that one year it might make an appearance.

It's not making an appearance. You're fooling yourself. You're wasting valuable space. Let it go. Let all of it go. Decorate as you intend and donate every single thing that isn't worthy of showing this year. You'll first of all not regret it, but you'll open up valuable real estate in your garage, storage room, closet, what have you.

Don't believe me? Call me. I'll help you decorate AND help haul it all away.
